On the morning of 27 December, the key project training program of Jingzhou City commenced at Central China Surface Treatment Recycling Economy Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to as “Central China Park”) with the participation of He Guangzhong Secretary of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee, Zhou Zhihong, Deputy Secretary of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor, together with over 50 officials.

Secretary He together with other officials visited the Park and listened to reports on its construction. Not only did they express their high affirmation on the construction speed and quality of the Park, but also emphasized that the development prospects of Jingzhou mainly depends on industrial vitalization by developing a leader for undertaking the industrial transfer. With an aim to optimize the manufacturing industry chain in Jingzhou and even Hubei, Central China Park, as a representative from Jingzhou, will take the lead for Hubei in the rise of Central China.

As a key provincial-level construction project in Hubei Province in 2020, Central China Park has attracted much attention from Jingzhou Government at all levels. With the strong support and encouragement from Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, all builders weathered through challenges arising from the epidemic, floods and high temperature in a timely manner. Amid such a difficult time, the construction work of the Park was completed on schedule, achieving a phased victory and thereby laying a solid foundation and providing strong support for investment and capital promotion of the Park.

Covering a planned site area of approximately 650,000 square meters and gross floor area of approximately 1,100,000 square meters, 54 plants with a gross floor area of approximately 650,000 square meters will be constructed in Central China Park in four phases. Phase 1 construction has been completed, including 6 high-standard electroplating plants with ancillary facilities such as wastewater treatment center, risk control center, testing center, office complex, hazardous chemical warehouse, thermal power center, water control center and underground common pipelines. Central China Park has also entered into agreements with 25 enterprises with an intention to join the Park, marking a good start for healthy and rapid development of the Park.

In addition to recognizing the construction results of Central China Park in 2020, such project training program also endorsed and provided guidance for future planning and construction of the Park. Looking ahead, by adhering to its mission, assuming its responsibilities, showing enthusiasm and striving for excellence, the Park is committed to become a leading surface treatment recycling economy industrial park in Central China, so as to facilitate the transformation and upgrade of the surface treatment industry and achieve a balance between regional economy and environmental protection.
