Tianjin Bingang Electroplating Industrial Base (the “Base”) is situated in the Aviation Industrial Park of Zhongwang Town, Jinghai District, Tianjin, which is affiliated to the National Ziya Economic and Technological Development Zone and has been comprehensively deployed in accordance with the National Twelfth Five-Year Development Plan to undertake the industrial restructuring of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the migration of environmental protection enterprises in the region. As the one and the only centralised processing area in Tianjin for metal (non-metal) surface treatment, the Base is an important fulcrum for docking the axis of the core development of international high-end functions in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The Base is 51% owned by Kimou Environmental Group. It was built through capital increase in September 2015 and put into operation in 2016, with an area of approximately 510,000 m2 and total assets of approximately RMB1.1 billion. The Base is planned for a treatment capacity of electroplating wastewater of 20,000 tonnes per day. At present, the wastewater treatment facilities with a treatment capacity of 6,000 tonnes per day are already in place. The third phase of physico-chemical treatment system with a treatment capacity of 16,000 tonnes per day is under construction and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2020, with 48 standard factory premises (including 3 customised factory premises) already been built. The Base is accessible to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and its surrounding areas, and has already housed more than 70 enterprises engaged in various industries including military, aerospace, aviation, high-speed rail, automobile and electronics.
Taking into account the local climatic conditions, the Base takes the lead to employ innovative underground integrated pipe rack in the industry. The underground integrated pipe rack is planned for a construction length of 12.5 km, of which 5.4 km has been completed. It deploys and manages various pipeline network systems in a unified and centralised manner, including the electroplating wastewater collection pipe network system, fire pipe network system, water supply (tap water, recycled water and purified water) system, domestic sewage system, strong and weak current system.
In addition, relying on the advanced experience of Kimou Environmental Group in the construction, operation and management of electroplating parks, the Base has adopted the management model of unified planning, unified construction and unified operation, and implements centralised treatment and control of wastewater treatment, centralised monitoring of waste gas and centralised management and control of waste residue, thereby striving to build a green, environmentally friendly electroplating industrial park characterised by energy saving and emission reduction, recycling economy and sustainable development.
